Impossible Ideas: Hacking Reality

02/02/2012 7:00 pm

Hacking RealityThis session will deal with the impossible idea of hacking reality: an emerging method that mixes communications, computers and politics.

Join us for a presentation and discussion on what hacking reality is, what it could be, and its role in demanding and achieving the impossible.

Led by Jesse Hirsh the session will focus on why hacking reality is a natural response to our world, how it has evolved over the years, and where it will go from here.

While discussion will revolve around the concept itself, we will also apply it as a lens to analyze and dissect current events, and ponder our moment in history.

This session will also give people a chance to ask questions about the Hacking Reality program at the Academy.

Events in this series are free for Academy members and pay-what-you-can for non-members.
